<p>I recently had a holiday in Greece and this was taken from a place called Acharavi where my girlfriend and I had stopped for a drink to watch the sun set as we were on our way to have dinner.</p>
<p>I know there are millions of photos like this but I just love the colours in the sky and couldn&#8217;t resist posting it.  More from the trip to come soon.</p>

<p>This is the famous castle <a title="Read more on Schloss Neuschwanstein" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuschwanstein">Neuschwanstein</a> in Bavaria, Germany.  It is apparently the castle which inspired Disney&#8217;s slightly more famous version.  It is  a spectacular place to visit and an amazing example of the lengths people have always gone to to show off and try to show that they are better than their neighbours.</p>
<p>Well worth a visit if you find yourself in that part of the world.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">The water was beautiful when I was there but seeing it like this gives the chance to examine it in more detail and even to see shapes, colours and textures, that you might otherwise be blind to, after the event when you&#8217;re home and sitting at the computer.</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">The glass-like look and colours of the light never fail to intrigue me, however many times I see it.</p>

<p>The long exposure gave them a great ghostly look and I ended up with a shot with a lot more character than I would have if they hadn&#8217;t been passing.</p>
