A few photos I took recently when I took part in a Night Lights Photography Walk course with Neil Atkinson after I was given a voucher as a gift.

I have to say Neil was great and I really enjoyed the evening.  I’m pleased with the photos too!

Just thought I’d post this as spring is busy springing and we’re starting to see bees in the garden again.  This was taken last summer with my macro lens, can’t wait for the summer to come again!

I took this on the Northern Irish coast and used HDRtist from the Mac App Store gently to bring a bit of colour back to a picture taken on an otherwise quite dull day.

A few photos from a recent trip down to Newcastle & Gateshead quaysides, taking in the Sage Gateshead,the Baltic Art Gallery and some of the famous bridges.

Autumn leaves caught on a stone in the river near Kielder Castle in Northumberland.

Thought I would post this with the weather getting colder, the crisp winter days when the Sun is shining are something to look forward to when the nights are drawing in!

This was taken last winter at Saltwell Park, though when the weather’s like that you’d think you taken a wrong turn through a wardrobe!

When I was a kid this would have been a view of slag heaps from the coke works that used to be where the park is now.  The difference is just unbelievable, if you didn’t know you would never guess what the scenery here used to be like.

This is also a great place to spot Red Kites and a dog walker told me he often sees deer in the corner of the field near where I got my shot.  Definitely more trips down there to be made!

I saw the mist this morning from the window and grabbed my camera.  Unfortunately by the time I got down there most of the mist had burned off.

I’ve also started to use Redbubble.com and you can find this image along with some of the others from this site on there.
